I have a need for used school textbooks, but need them cheaply. I understand that schools have to get rid of their books somehow, but I don't know where they end up or when they are sold. Anyone know?

hey i have a 90-92 gpa,i took 6 APs,i play soccer, basketball and tennis, and im in around 8 clubs...im really want to be an orthapedist or athletic trainer (something around there)...i am also really interested in science as well...from a small town in ny....not a big partier(just like chilling out with my friends)

I need just a few parents to back me up as a professional, knowledgable adult dedicated to their children. Don't parents understand that it is normal for kids to lie...remember...we did it too. Really mom and dad, they had a full week to do that lengthy assignment...don't believe them when they say such silly things as the teacher never told us it was due. AND I not only discussed the directions, they were supposed to copy them from the board too. No, I'm not picking on Jimmy, I actually have important, productive things to do and I like kids or I wouldn't have spent 6 years in college and tens of thousands of dollars to pick on a 12 year old.

Parents, when you get on our side instead of on our backs, together we can do more to help you child.

my school lowered my financial aid substantially this year and I need a loan to pay for school. My problem is that my parents refuse to co-sign- so I have no co-signer. Are there any student loans that are easier to get than others? I really need to pay for school! I'm already working myself to death to pay for rent and food and stuff...

What specific questions should I ask the university when I go for my tour. I am pretty sure where I want to go and am set on the program I want to do (Nutrition). Basketball, Volleyball, being in the Weight room, what’s not to like about PE? Throughout the year, we all do a lot of sports while we’re in PE, and do ALOT of reading and writing and reading in health!
In PE, we usually either play Parking Lot or walk the track to warm up. Then we split up into our classes to do our sport that we are on. The sports that we play aren’t hard, but you must try them!

This is the whole sentence: "I had so many blisters on my feet that walking to the bathroom was out of the question, so I just laid there on the floor."

which one is correct:

a) I just laid there on the floor.
b)I just lied there on the floor.
c)I just laid down on the floor.
d)I just lied down on the floor.
e) other

part grammar question also part style. Maybe "I just remained on the floor" could work too.

Prof. marked that sentence wrong for grammar, and I do not know what's wrong with it.
