An Ocean’s Abyss
My master’s eyes, a black ocean’s abyss;
So piercing, so cold, no sparkle inside.
With lips just pursed, awaits a lover’s kiss.
He tries to forget, a secret to hide.
Dark as the earth, with a twist and a turn;
His moustache covers his sad, forlorn face.
He beckons me on to love and to learn;
He is the plain oak tree, I am the lace.
His forehead, etched with deepened lines galore;
Black hair, spiking up, and a paunch beside,
His ears protrude, need I say more?
But somehow, some way, even if I tried…
There would be his gentle, caring sweet ways,
That surrounds me like bright, faithful sun’s rays!

Help! I'm at he mature age of 25, and am currently on an access course. I am torn between doing nursing and paramedic science. I really ant to do the paramedic course the most, but it will mean i have to move away from home to do that course. I worry about who i live with, if they will all be 18 year olds, and if i will fit in. I could take the easier route and do nursing, and live at home, but it's i'm not as keen. Do i move away? Take a risk? Or see where nursing route takes me? Myabe i could get into the ambulance route with nursing, but it will be a longer road, and a less stimulating experience. Any help will be appreciated!!! :)

i'm doing an interior design dissertation that involve children, a space that has the same exact replica of our normal environment but in a smaller scale to accomodate children, it could be a restaurant, an office, cinema, etc. i was hoping that when a child is exposed to what our normal routine are, they are capable in dealing with everyday difficulties. it can be a way to educate a child to think or at least behave like us, in dealing with problem the sane way. and thus lesser child abuse cases.
please provide your thoughts and help me identify faults and weakness in my proposal.
