Ok, class starts about 2 and half weeks. I applied for FAFSA 4 months ago. I just found out this past Monday that I didn't qualify for pell grant since the school messed up my address and information yet I'm a single mother and work 30 hours a week. Of course I was very upset about this but I wonder how did I not qualify.?! First time ever applying and I'm assumming I'm making too much money. (Only 11 bucks an hour)! They told me I have to fit in some quota. Is it possible for me to try to re-apply again to make sure there isn't errors? And what sort of loans do you recommend that doesn't check your credit history if there is any out there. Please help!

I got like mugged like 3 weeks ago, and of course for obvious reasons, I dont want it to happen again (hit 3-4 times, knocked out, got back-pack stolen).....Im NOT NOT NOT gonna carry gun, or a knife anything like that....but I have seen these like key-chains type things...kubakons, brass Knuckely type things, to have when your walking to your car.(SELF deFence purely).....What if i had that one of those type things on my keys (I heard Brass Knuckles were illegal, concelled weapon)...and was walking to my car, get attacked, use IT on an attacker, and really hurt him, or even kill him....do i go to jail, or get fined, or get in trouble?!?!?! EVEn if I was just defending my self????

Im looking into some classes about, how to take an attacker down, but it seems like one of those would be good to have as well. ANyone know the law, in which you defend yourself with a weapon that isnt like legal, but you use it purely for Self defence purposes ???what happens to YOU???

Is it critical that a student learn the K-12 basics from a teacher that holds a college degree? Or can a student in fact learn just as much studying at home with Mom or Dad at the helm? Or better yet.. is it possible that a student can successfully self-teach and excel? Intelligence is one thing but willingness to work is another. Is *smart* dependent on having a certified teacher? I knew plenty of intelligent children in public school that were also so disruptive that they ruined the learning environment for the entire classroom.

Many homeschoolers are discovering that self-teaching is a very practical method of learning. My daughter taught herself math from age 4 through age 19. She independently completed algebra 2 and advanced math and had also begun calculus when she started college. Her first college math course was a breeze and she often found herself correcting the instructor.. go figure.

Discuss how their content reflects the form (submit copies of the sonnets, marked to show analisis). I am so confused. please help me. i dont read sonnets so i wouldnt know what sonnets to pick and how to 'discuss how their content reflects the form!?' PLEASE HELP! ANYONE!
