Hey There, it's like saying, that might not be the most sensible thing to do or the wisest choice to make. Just say you tell someone you are going to do something silly, they may say "that wouldn't be too wise". It can be used sarcastically or in a threatening way also eg you may say to someone "if you do that again, I will ring the police" and they may reply "that wouldn't be too wise". Hope that clears it up a little.

It means that it isn't a good idea. Also that bad things could happen for man 1, if man 1 decided to do it.
