ok, there is a mid evil weapon, or arounf that time period, but it is a staff, exept it has a half circle blade at one end. the flat part of the half circle faces the handle, and the rounded part was the blade. does anyone know the name of this weapon?

Medieval warriors used many kinds of weapons. The one you describe sounds like a type of battle ax. It could also be a type of polearm.

That medieval weapon sounds like a scythe, pronounced sith with a long i sound as in rice.

It is either a Scythe or a Sickle. I can't tell from your discription.
