dec·a·dence
n.

1. A process, condition, or period of deterioration or decline, as in morals or art; decay.
2. often Decadence A literary movement especially of late 19th-century France and England characterized by refined aestheticism, artifice, and the quest for new sensations.

The connotation of decadent is unnecessary luxury to the point of decay in your morals. So it means stop indulging in yourself to the exclusion of morals and mind.

It means that there is more to life than just materialistic comforts. And that there are others around you, on whom the fortune has not smiled. It means to reach out and help someone who is not as blessed as you might be. Generally it means to stop being a show off and help others where you can.

It could mean
- they think you're living too comfortably, luxuriously, or materially
- they think you're living a degrading and decayed lifestyle, not living up to your potential or moral capacity
- they're just being sarcastic, and saying you're having too good a time.
