My child is 6 and she has problems with her spelling (written and oral). She has problems with b, d, t - e.g. "bed" "dad" "get" they all get confused.

She is left handed which from speaking with other left handers caused them considerable problems when they were starting at school.

I know that all children have differences in learning abilities and they normally catch up after a while. I am not too concerned but I would like to assist in her learning.

I am hoping that there are some games or simple exercises that she would enjoy and at the same time inprove her spelling.

Hi there, I was just wondering if there's something that would help me translate everyday English into old English (by old English I don't mean Old English, but rather the English they spoke around the peak of the Witch Craze, etc). I just read the edited-to-look-like -the-original-version-probably-did edition of the Scarlet Letter, and I'm just obsessed with the English they speak.
I write sentences like "'Tis but a vilest of lies," but sometimes I get the feeling that they don't make sense in either modern English or old one. Or in any sort of language, for that matter.
Uh, and before you tell me to study "Structures of the English language in pre-Revolutionary times" at an online university for "just 9.99 per hour", I don't have credit card, am under eighteen and my monthly income is about two hundred bucks. I live with my dad and a ***** he got off some dumpster (we believe in recycling by re-using instead of throwing away), and do not own a car. Nor plan to

After 2 years of not getting along with one of her classmates, my child "pants" her at lunch recess because the other child made yet another ethnically derogatory statement about her. This was the first time my child "fought back". I was not immediately notified, but instead they conducted an investigation and called me the next day telling me she was being suspend for three days becasue the principle decided that her presence was a danger to others. Why wasn't she removed immediately the day of the incident then?Nothing was done about the child who made the statements, not even an apology to my child. Is there anything I can or should do? This will follow her in her school records.

When we are in public he will let another kid take a toy that he was playing w/. He could have just gotten there. When we see family that we have'nt seen in a long time he doesn't associate w/ them. When I took him to pre-school screening he's father had to stay w/ him at first. Then he was the last one out. But he did end up liking the teacher. (Ms. Oliver from Pleasant Grove.) I scared b/c I think he will let kids run him, he may not eat at school(b/c he's so picky), and he just may not play w/ the kids. I did enroll him in t-ball. Sometimes he plays then sometimes he's in his own world. We've been playing since April and he still does not talk to any of the kids or give them 5 after the game.
