Don't know. I know what you mean, though--like Keith Urban singing country & western. Or just about any English person singing anything . . .

you can, if you pay more attention. it's not like you can pick up an accent from the first time you hear a person speak. before, i couldnt tell that celine dion had an accent in that song, my heart will go on, but now, i can tell she do. at first, rihanna didnt sound like she had an accent either, but she do, i can catch it now. pay more attention, get the lyrics and read them as the singer sings, and compare each word to how you would pronounce it. if you dont have an accent of course.
