Studying 10 chapters in 2 days with 5 each day. I tend to remember things really well for a short period of time. By the time I got to day 10, I would have forgotten most of chapter one.
If the chapters were long and boring, I might spread it out to over five days, with 2 a day, but no less than that.

10 chapters in 10 days. Gives you time to absorb the information. be sure to review the previous chapters before you begin studying a new chapter every day.

The first option. Otherwise, you're trying to cram way too much information. This way you can absorb the chapters and understand it, rather than pack a lot of information for an exam.

the 5 everyday thing for me I can't speak for your learning ability. I am a speed reader so I need to read it right before I need to learn it. In 10 days if it doesn't interest me I will have forgotten what I have read.

It depends on the individual and what you are studying. Somethings are so involve you can get burned out and not retain any information if try to take too much in at one time.
