than---"Than" is used for comparisons as in resources to realization. "Then" is time as in "I will be there by then." How about adding to your affirmations that you are willing to ask for it when you need help?

Than..
'Then' is a word usually describing time or a period of time ('I went to school, then I came home'), also look at #3 in the following source.

than...
then would be appropriate if the sentence was something like "I used to believe in god, then i realized it was as ridiculous as believing that an aluminum foil hat would keep out the alien mind-control rays".

Than is somewhat an either or...then refers to time...as in " THEN He asked a stupid question, rather THAN an intelligent one."

its than, because when you use "then" it's more of a time thing...like, I will go to the store THEN...or for than, it's like, you know more THAN you think, which is like a measurement....get what I'm saying??
hope it helped.
