Spanish "translation" sites do not help. I've been on this assignment for…. forever. I'm not trying to cheat, I'm seriously stuck on this.

Write 10 sentences. In five of them, use the formula "hace ____ que" and in the other, five use the formula "_____ desde hace." Make four of the sentences negative.

I'm interested on what Saddam Hussein did to Babylon during his regime. I would like to switch careers & become a high school teacher. One problem is that I want to teach social studies, but it seems like all the teacher training programs are for math, science and languages. Another problem is that, despite having a M.A. in my subject area, I don't have any teacher training or M.A.T.

Which should I do & in what order: go get a teaching degree? Teach math or science with the hope of switching to social studies? Teach in private school? Go get certified & take the PRAXIS test? Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Just interested to know what others thought- I know that, for me, grammar school saved me from (and I'm not saying all comprehensives are like this, I know some very nice ones with a high standard of teaching- this is just the one near me) the drugs-drink-smoking school down the road which was the only other school I had a chance of getting in to
