No. They're actually used to make burgers a lot now because it's healthier than cow meat. (I've seen it on menus a lot in the Reading, PA area if you don't believe me).

Bison are definately not extinct. I grew up in North Dakota and I currently live in Minnesota. Both states have several Bison farms, they currently sell Bison for meat. Also, in Jamestown North Dakota there is the site of the worlds largest bison statue. They also have a herd of bison there and the famous "white bison" resides there. At the Minnesota zoo in Apple Valley Minnesota there are also bison for people to view. hope this helps!

No I live in ohio and on interstate 71 between clevand and columbus, there is Bison farm, They are not extinct at all. There might not be a whole lot of them though.

Many species of bison are extinct, but there are a few species that are still with us.

No they are not extinct. They are on the endangered list but are making a strong resurgance. I live in IL and they are around here still, but not in the wild.

no, but for the most part they are raised in captivity on reserves and there are very very few still in the wild.
