I'm going on a few trips in the next month that will total about 25 hours of riding in cars and buses. I need books that are interesting and will keep my attention!

She's Come Undone, by Wally Lamb. Greatest read ever! Then there's always the Harry Potter books, there's 6 of them now, so they should keep you pretty busy.

Try Stephen King's short story book collections " Nightmares and Dreamscapes", "Skelton Crew" or " Everything's Eventual". Some of the stories will for sure keep you up during the night. The books can be bought in paperback and don't take up much space in ur bag.

1 Tinker, A Brothers Price (have reread 2 times so far) or Alien Taste series- Wen Spencer (Tinker deal with elves, AT deals with you guest it Aliens but in a unique way)
2 the Dresden Files- Jim Butcher (several in series) (wizards, werewolves, and vamps oh my)
3 Rowen- Anne McCaffery (several in series) (space opera very good)
4 Harry Potter JK Rowlings (several in series)
5 Dead Witch Walking- Kim Harrison (several in series) (witchy and vampy)

6 Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon (One of my all time fave series vamps on a different level, Greek gods abound)
7 Anita Blake Series By Laurell K. Hamilton (vamps and the like)
8 Marry Gentry series by Laurall k. Hamilton (elves, elves and more gorgeous elves)
9 Other World series by Kelley Armstrong (witch, and all the other critters too)
10 Black Jewels trilogy, The Invisible Ring, and The World of the Fae trilogy by Anne Bishop

The FountainHead by Ayn Rand is my all time favorite. I'm re-reading for the 5th time currently.
However, I'll warn you that people either love it or hate it.

may may have to go to some used book stores, but get some copies of ripley's believe it or not, or the book of lists vols. 1-3
