Where can i find information on temples in Babylon?

I'm interested on what Saddam Hussein did to Babylon during his regime. I read somewhere a few years ago that he had funneled millions and millions of dollars into rebuilding temples and I would just like to know more detailed information on who the temples were dedicated to, where they are, and how they are surviving today during the war.

The best place to find information on this sort of thing is to contact a middle eastern historical society, who no doubt have volumes of information on the subject of what was there before Saddam, and compare that with what reasearchers working for the world heritage trust are discovering in the area as we speak.
