I'm looking for more of a really good "hole in the wall" type place. I know about Crustaceans, The Water Grill, etc. What are some good lesser known places?

We will have been drinking by the pool all day, so we're not looking to go to a sophisticated place where we will offend people. We'd like to be able to be loud. Medium to high price range with great food, any type. Somewhere near the strip. Thanks for your suggestions

I explain me: I have an appointment with a person who works with me. I'm not used to eat in a Mc Donald, and this person told me "Hey! Let's eat in a Mc Donald tomorrow for lunch!" I've never eat there! I always eat in chic french restaurants. But I cannot refuse the appointment. How can I eat an hamburger without becoming a pig? Thank you.

NYC: The village. It's a very tiny, quaint but elegant restaurant located right off of 7th Ave in the village. Right across from Caliente's. Can't remember the name but do remember the great food & talented jazz singers. It's a tiny place that's a bit hidden.
Anyone out there know the name?

i am loooking for a nice place in downtown chicago or the chicago land area where i could take my girlfriend to make up to her because i am missing one of her highschool dances. she is 18, and i am 19 so it would have to be a under 21 place. i was thinking something under the lines of, slow dancing, maybe fast dancing, food, drinks and relaxing. kind of like a lounge for younger people. any suggestions that match that or any new sugestions would help a lot. this is for feb 10 so hopefully i get some feed back soon! thanks alot everyone

It was located on Mockingbird Ln. across the street from the old Dr Pepper plant, at the corner of Mockingbird and Matilda. Does anyone know if it might have moved to another location, or perhaps sold its recipe to anyone still in business in the metroplex?

Alright I need help, I need opinions. What are your favorites places to eat? What do you enjoy eating there? What style of restaurants, like upbeat, modern, classic? And ethnicity? Mexican, Italian, Asian cuisines? I am writing a research paper and need peoples opinon, anything you have to say about restaurants I would appreciate. And random facts are awesome too, thanks!
