What are your favorites places to eat? What do you enjoy eating there?
--Mezzodi's (local Italian American place in Des Moines, Iowa), and their Steak Deburgo. It is utterly perfect. The best meal I've ever had in my life.
--Wendy's and a #7 (Homestyle Chicken Filet sandwich, a baked potato, and a Sprite)
--Panera Bread and a Frontega Chicken Sandwich with an IC Spice
--Blimpie (a club on parmesan oregano, grilled, with lettuce, tomato, and peppercorn sauce)
--HuHot (Mongolian Grill, also mostly local) and the ingredients vary as Mongolian grills are known for (you make your own plate, really)
--Panchero's (local Mexican restaurant) and steak quesadillas
--a TON of other places, but these are my top places.

What style of restaurants, like upbeat, modern, classic?
--I like swanky, dark steakhouses. Restaurants that make you wonder what's going on at the next table. I hate really bright places.

And ethnicity? Mexican, Italian, Asian cuisines?
-- My top choice is Italian followed by Mexican. I tend not to like Chinese or Asian, but certain places, like HuHot, certainly are making me change my mind. And I LOVE homecooked Indian food. My mom and dad make a mean curry.

I also love cooking at home like lasagna, fajitas, things like that. My boyfriend is a master griller, and his burgers are to die for. Especially with Hecky's barbecue sauce (based in Chicago).

If you can't tell, I prefer local places. :)

And as for random facts about food, I could go on all day. I plan on writing a book about food and how our social lives revolve around it. :)

I love food! If I could give advice to every small town, I'd suggest trying to get a Vietnamese restaurant, a Pervuvian charbroiled chicken place, a Korean restaurant with an all you can eat buffet, a Pakistani kabob restaurant, a Thai restaurant, a really good taqueria and an Indian restaurant.

Unfortunately, Chinese food has become like fast food in this country and most restaurants are terrible.

I love to eat at Ruby Tuesday when I want a good burger. When I want to relax and get a good meal, I go to Chambers 19 Bistro & Bar in Doylestown, PA. I can eat and then go shopping in the quaint stores nearby. But if I want good seafood, I go right next door to B. Maxwell's Victorian Pub, which is up the street from Chambers. I like restaurants that have TVs and that have a relaxing, low-key atmosphere.

I like Lone star. Not crazy about the music, but it makes up for it with their great salads and steaks. They have the best chicken pot pie soup that I have ever tasted. It is more Western cruisine.

Jalepinos. Mexican cruisine. Very authentic food, like their Mexican rice. Plus the service is so quick.

Jimmys Italian Steakhouse. More upscale, great overhead, the food is wonderful. Offers like pepper crusted steak tenderloin is wonderful.

Food is great, you can learn a lot about families and differeny cultures from food. If I eat out I like going to the Texas Roadhouse, its very compy and relaxed. I really love the rolls and the cinnimon butter...its the greatest!!! Nothing beats homemade food though, you get new recipes, trying new things..its the greatest...at least thats what I think..lol

I like any restaurant from ultra-casual cafes to slightly upscale. I'm just not snobby enough to deal with super-uptight places. For food it could be practically any cuisine except French, Morrocan, or Indian.

I'll try something once, then I can decide if I don't like it.

I like to eat at Chili's and Olive Garden. I love Chili's burgers and from Olive Garden I eat Eggplant Parmesan. I like restaurants that are clean and friendly. If a restaurant has a nasty bathroom I won't eat there anymore.
