What's your fav appetizer? Queso dip is the best. But I love a dish called 'Bang Bang Shrimp' at the Bonefish Grill.

They live in the kitchen and have become tame as the chef feeds them with left over food. It could be a problem however if they got out when the customers are eating, they may even call the health inspector! If that happens can I claim they don't belong to me but come from next door?

I do understand that in some situations, like if the food was totally mixed up, really bad, or if the server has been rushing you and giving you crap all night long.

Do you feel that it is wrong that a customer skips out on their bill even though everything has gone right?

I am a waitress in training, and I even mentioned to the customers if they were okay felt okay with me as their waitress for the evening and all. It wasn't a busy night, never ignored them, suggested feature menu items, never got their orders wrong, (they were very specific assholes too) and above all asked them how was the food and if they needed anything else.

I even said if there was anything wrong just let me know and I can fix it for them and they said NO!!!!!!

They even seemed to be happy and all too and ate ALL OF THEIR FOOD! But they ran out, without paying their food.

Now did I do anything wrong or is it them? That meal came out of MY PAYCHECK!!! NOT TIP, PAYCHECK! CUSTOMERS THINK IT'S TIP, NOT TRUE.

My husband and I are a young couple just starting out. We just had a baby and are going to get her baptized next month. With the holidays coming up and alot of bills that need to be paid we have hardly any money to spend on the gathering afterwards. For our wedding I made all the food myself and we rented a room in the church and that kept costs low for the most part. Only thing is that room won't hold the amount of people we have coming to this event. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on places that rent space cheap and what I can do to keep costs down as much as possible. Our budget for a space can't exceed $150. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

I live off of my tips as a waitress, and always get screwed. I have to tip out 3% of my sales- which can be up to $30 sometimes, and when people don't tip or tip very badly, it leaves me making under 10% of my sales for the night. I always give excellent service, and treat everyone the same and with respect... I get lot's of compliments- many are verbal.... so I just don't get it sometimes. It can ruin my entire night. I served ten 15 yr old girls tonight, did everything I could for them, had their drinks refilled on time, everything.... even got the one a free birthday dessert. They left me a total of $2 on a $102 bill. So take 3% of that 102, that means I have to tip out $3- one dollar being out of my pocket.
Then there's the people who just look like they don't tip- and most of the time, they don't. So WHY do people go out if they can't afford a decent tip? And if they can afford it, why not pay it? I'm looking to leave the serving job, I'm sick of ppl and that's not me.

I went to a restaurant with my dad, and ordered. I was talking with my dad, and the last thing I was thinking about was the food. Without giving it a second thought (why should I,) I began eating the bread from the bread basket on the table. All the sudden, the waitress comes almost angry at me telling me the food is about to be ready. My dad even laughed telling me I shoudn't spoil my appetite.

When we left my dad was surprised I left a tip, but I always do that.

Why did she get mad I was eating the bread from the basket they put on my table?

I mean I am there to enjoy my food. The last thing I want to think about or look at is something this person is using during sex. I usually call and complain to the manager. Anyone else in the same boat?

I have to eat at a really nice restaurant for the first time in my life. I'm talking about the kind where there are utensils on both sides of the plates and the waiter puts the linen in your lap for you. I do not want to embarrass myself or the people I am eating with. I'd appreciate any help.
