I can cook fairly well, but i'm afraid it might be a bit of a struggle with my son running around. But then, it's my 5th anniversary, will my husband want to go for a nice meal instead of eating what i cook?

Was just thinking and looking for an opinion. My ex-bf only tips a max $2 per meal. We went to this restaurant just before we broke up, he wined & dined me...I mean, oysters on the 1/2 shell w/caviar and vodka, drinks, wonderful dinner, etc...and we had the waiter running.
The bill came to almost $300 and he was only going to leave the waiter $10....when I said I'll leave the tip and left $50, he said I embarassed him. Who should be embarassed - a cheap tipper?
I believe in tipping on service provided and not necessarily the 15% rule, but still leave more than $2 on a $20 meal.
What are your thoughts??

At restuarants toothpicks were tested that were laying out open in a bowl or container..... without any paper or plastic on the individual picks. The results showed that 90% of the toothpicks were covered with male urine, Why? because the typical male goes to the restroom prior to leaving the restaurant and does not wash his hands, then goes for the toothpick...! YUCK!////

I’m looking for stores/restaurants that give you bonus gift cards when you purchase gift cards for others. For example, at Bertucci’s Brick Oven Pizza, they give you a $10 gift card for every $50 worth of gift cards you buy for others. I’m looking for more deals like this one. Does anyone know of any?

I went to a restaurant yesterday with a big group of people, and then I left. It wasn't untill I got home that I realised I hadnt payed. What can I do? Will I get caught? How serious is it? (The meal cost $17 NZ) Would I get in more trouble if I went back to pay today?

I am a female who often dines out alone when I'm traveling on business. I am usually reading when they deliver my food and then realize they didn't leave my check. When I'm done eating, I have to wait forever for them to bring my check. I leave good tips but if they make me wait too long, I don't leave as big of a tip. I've even asked them to please leave my check when they deliver my food but they still forget. Why on earth can't they leave the check when they leave your food?
