It's kind of presumptive for a restaurant to suggest tip amounts. The only time I thought it was even halfway acceptable was when the bill went through a computer, which calculated 15% and 18% tips for the customer's "convenience". I think you and the other servers ought to get together and decide what you want to do about this situation. Face management as a group, and you may get better results. The first possibility: Don't pool your tips or donate any of them to the house. Keep your own tips and keep track of them. You could remind them that there's actually a law that says that if a server's tips don't bring his or her compensation up to minimum wage, the restaurant is obligated to make up the difference. (Good luck with that ...) The second possibility: Always seat the cheapskates in a certain area of the restaurant. If it's right next to the kitchen door or the rest rooms, so much the better. Work out some equitable arrangement for whose turn it is to wait on them, and rotate the duty. Without being obvious about it, the service there could slower and sloppier than usual. Maybe they'll get discouraged.

Ruby Tuesdays, TGI Fridays, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Maccaroni Grill, On The Border, Uno's, and Chili's. Most restaurants have pay after you eat. The only places that make you pay first are fast food joints and buffets.

The only places you pay before you eat are at fast food places & most of them have drive-thru windows. Otherwise, you pay after you have finished eating. Both Ruby Tuesday's and TGI Friday's are like this.

Why? Are you planning on a dine and dash? I find it strange that you don't know of any places you pay after you eat. Nowadays most restaurants work that way.
