If so did you tip nicely, with the thought that the server and staff would have loved to be with their own families on this day?
You did not have to shop for, cook, or clean up the mess from this giant meal, right?
Did that all occur to you?
I worked and made good $$, just wondering about feed-back on this topic.

Say you go to a nice restaurant and they serve you a beautifully prepared plate of food. Do you ever think about how often the chef touched your food while he was lovingly arranging it on the plate? (I know they often wear gloves, but not always.)Even if he washed his hands, what if he had just gone to the bathroom? I know this question is kind of gross, just wondering if anyone else thinks about strange things like I do.

Last month, I asked the question on here: "What is the big deal with Sushi? Especially when it comes to girls and dating?", and the common response that I got (especially from girls) was that it was "light and delicate." I didn't think that this was the case, so I went to a nice Sushi Bar in Visalia, CA (Tokyo Garden to be exact) with some friends from work, and I tried some Sushi (for the first time ever in my life) to see for myself. I had a California Roll (which was really good), and a Sushi plate that consisted of 3 different kinds of raw fish on top of rice (which was very nasty). Anyway, I can tell you all right now that it was NOT light and it was NOT delicate. For example when I ate one piece of the California Roll, it was like I was eating a 3 course meal all at once, in one bite! As for the other dish, it was so much food that I couldn't finish it all. Anyway, those girls were wrong, but it seems that all girls and women in general like all things light and delicate. Right?

I heard of restaurants spitting on people food if you piss them off enough. Is this true or is it just a rumor. I saw it in the movie the waiting, which was a great movie by the way. I heard if you make a big stincked and cause hell becouse you didn't like how someone made something, or your just plane rude to the waiters, they will give you your new food, but they will spit and do disqusting things to eat. My friend knows people who work at restaurants and fast foods, and he said it does happen. Is this true? He heard it from other friends, Is the saying true, "YOU DON'T **** WITH PEOPLE THAT HANDLE YOUR FOOD." im not sure if its true, but im not reallying to test it, if its true or not. I rather not chance eat and not find out.

For example, if you order a $500 dollar bottle and only finish half with your date, do you get to take the bottle home or do they just put it back in the fridge or give it to the kitchen staff?

And if they do re-cork it, doesn't that lower the value for the next person who'd want to order the same kind?

Unfortunately I could not visit my family back home for Thanksgiving so I am stuck here in up-state New York. I do not want to cook up a turkey dinner just for myself and a "significant other" so what places are really good to eat at? Not too expensive and nothing like Denny's or IHop please.
