Yes, I am comfortable and can concentrate on the good food, especially when I'm eatting something special in a nice restaurant (nice view, good interiors, nice waitstaff, etc) I can go to any fine dining place alone to aim for food only, French / Japanese / Thai / Italian, ... 3 courses or 4 courses dinner, end it with a lovely dessert! I enjoy Teppanyaki or sushi while looking the chefs performing in front of me and I'm amazed. I go to a small Japanese sushi restaurant once in a while, the owner & chef there always prepare different tiny portion of appetizers for me to try (on his treat) and those appetizers are not listed on the menu.

To me, it is fun to go to Chinese Restaurant with at least 3 or 4 friends or with my family (12 of us) because we can order more food to share with. I agree that going to fancy romantic restaurant alone is kind of weird on special days like Christmas eve or St. Valentine's day which I never did it, no matter how attractive the food they serve.

On the other hand, I do not prefer to eat alone on my brithday in nice restaurants because that makes me feel lonely while seeing the people around have companies. But I still can manage it if I have to, I had this lonely feeling before when I was on business trip and it happened to be my Bday or Christmas eve, etc. (there is no Christmas holiday in China or Japan).

No, I feel awkward, I would rather go to a fast food restaurant rather than a sit-down 3-course restaurant. Even at the fast food I feel weird so I rather do drive-thru. I have sat alone, but I would take a book or homework so that I can feel distracted and ignore the fact that I am sitting alone.

specific. I commute plenty for artwork so eating on my own isn't a difficulty. extreme-high quality to bypass away the grimy dishes at the back of and not difficulty approximately rubbish in the automobile etc. quite some napkins accessible and that i will stretch out and not difficulty approximately others on the table. Can place issues which includes laptop or analyzing fabric on the seat beside me or on the table the place i admire. although there is not any one to talk to for the duration of dinner it relatively is not consistently a draw lower back because it skill i would be comfortable and consume and not think of roughly what somebody suggested or being asked to bypass the salt etc.
