If you prefer a traditional meal, most of your American style buffet restaurants like Golden Corral and Ryan's will be open serving turkey, ham, and all the trimmings.

There are also restaurants within large hotels like the Hilton and the Marriot that are typically open every day.

Just do one thing when you do dine out for Thanksgiving (and Christmas as well): please tip your server as best you can, even if it is a buffet. These people are sacrificing their holiday so that you don't have cook and clean (your circumstances are understandable, though). Most of the servers don't get holiday pay (not that it would be much, anyway). Just something to think about as you enjoy such convenience on a holiday.

A lot of restaurants in my area remain open for Thanksgiving dinners. Call ahead, though; they may have no seating left.

Some fast food restaurants along interstates will be open. I know McDonalds near us will be open for breakfast and early afternoon. Lots of bars, some that cook food, will be open in the evening.

I would try nice hotels in the area..they should have very nice buffets for thanksgiving. They are a little on the pricey side but they will have everything you could want.
