What are good places to go for an aniversary in the Twin Cities? Looking for classy/dressy, nice places. Prices about medium/high to high, I really want to go all out. Looking for Seafood or Italian, or a nice Steak place. Willing to pay well over $20-25 per meal. I'm new to the cities, and fairly unfamiliar with what they have for dining options.

Thanks

My husband and I recently were eating out at a restaurant. We ate a lot of great food and at the end the waitress brought us our check. After looking over the check we noticed that she had left something off. Meaning, we ate/drank something and were not charged for it. Now, I'm just curious about all of you people out there, would you just pay it as-is, or would you bring it to the server's attention that you were undercharged?

If you go through the drive-thru at any other restaurant, and you're waiting for your food, they will give your your drink, and a straw. But when you go through at Wendy's, they'll give you your drink and make you wait for your straw until you get your food. It's like your just sitting there staring at the drink, thinking "holy crap I'm thirsty!" Why do they do this? Any Wendy's employees that might be able to answer this?

I just went to the cafeteria at work to get a bage. While I was walking back to the office, the bagel fell off of the plate and on the floor. The floor is carpeted.

I never dress up and I am a little "bigger boned". I don't like to show off my arms and under the sweater I am wearing a t-shirt that matches my trouser gaucho style pants. My fiance is wearing a shirt and tie. Too casual?

My husband and I are both working professionals who eat out often. My husband leaves a tip even if the service was crappy. I don't leave a tip unless the service was exceptional. My argument is that I work hard every day at my job (which is not in the service industry) and I am NEVER given a tip. Why should they get tips?

Do my guests pay for their own share, I mean. It doesn't make sense to me, since *I* am the one who invited them for *my* birthday, therefore shouldn't I be the one to be paying the bill?

I do understand that in some situations, like if the food was totally mixed up, really bad, or if the server has been rushing you and giving you crap all night long, management helps out your problems.

Do you feel that it is wrong that a customer skips out on their bill even though everything has gone right?

I am a waitress in training, and I even mentioned to the customers if they were okay with me as their waitress for the evening and all. It wasn't a busy night, never ignored them, suggested feature menu items, never got their orders wrong, (they were very specific assholes too) and above all asked them how was the food, if everything was okay, and if they needed anything else.

I even said if there was anything wrong just let me know and I can fix it for them and they said NO NOTHING!!!!!!

They even seemed to be happy and all too and ate ALL OF THEIR FOOD! But they ran out, without paying their food.

Now did I do anything wrong or is it them? That meal came out of MY PAYCHECK!!

Any suggestions to what names would be good?
it will have all these features:
regular & vegan menu
Lots of coffee stuff,
will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner & night entertainment.
Full bar in seperate room than the cafe part.

I have most of it ready to go I just can not find a name that fits.
The color theme of it is darker colors(plum, blue and black) with brighter colors for employees uniforms and paintings and light fixtures.
