I prefer cooking at home. I know what ingredients are in whatever I'm making and how it's prepared. You can't be too sure of that at restaurants. Plus, it's cheaper.
But dining out is still a nice treat when I'm tired and don't feel like cooking.

I like to do both. My preference is to eat at home. It is more cost effective and you can control what you are eating both nutritionally and to your taste. People really appreciate a good home cooked meal too. So, it is nice to cook at home for family or to entertain. On the otherhand, I do enjoy going out to eat. You can experience new foods and tastes and is generally a good time with friends, etc. And, I have been know to go through a fast food drive thru because I am hungry and no time to cook or just have a craving for McDonalds French Fries.

I like to eat at home.
1) because I know what's in the food.
2) I know the kitchen is clean, and the chef has washed her hands.
3) because I LOVE to cook.
That doesn't mean I don't like getting carry out from time to time, but I prefer to eat at home.

I prefer to cook at home because one: it's cheaper. And me, i like to cook on a grill, so in saying that, you eat at home because you can add or subtract your own ingredients(experimenting). As in if you eat out, the taste of the food is always predictable.

I like both, depends what mood I'm in. When I go shopping I love having lunch at a restaurant. When I'm tired and moody, I like going home to eat my take aways or order food.
