If you go through the drive-thru at any other restaurant, and you're waiting for your food, they will give your your drink, and a straw. But when you go through at Wendy's, they'll give you your drink and make you wait for your straw until you get your food. It's like your just sitting there staring at the drink, thinking "holy crap I'm thirsty!" Why do they do this? Any Wendy's employees that might be able to answer this?

It must vary. We've gotten straws handed to us with the drink, or inside the bag with the food and napkins. If it's afterward, maybe it's just an afterthought from unorganized people. Who knows?
