They don't take reservations. They opened one here recently and you have to wait 1-3 hours for a table.
It is excellent though. The menu is as thick as a magazine. Many many choices. Big, huge food portions. But then remember to save room for cheesecake -- they have 50-100 types of cheesecake and other desserts. It is a little pricey also -- $50 a couple and up.

I like the Cheesecake Factory, but it's not out of this world -- just like any other chain. Been there many times. Mostly because it's a block from my apartment. I think it is a good place to go on the date, but if it is anything like the two that I have been to (Chicago and Miami), there can be a wait.
Portions are very large, and they have a large, varied menu. Prices range from around $13-$20 for an entree. I have liked everything that I have gotten there, except the salad (the Cobb, I think it was). It was good and you get a lot (too much), but I've had better. The pasta dishes are good, but can be a little too greasy for me.

Its very good, but the portions are huge! My husband and I shared an entree because we wanted to make sure we had room for the cheesecake. Another couple I know that goes there a lot orders 2 appetizers and then has dessert. It can be pretty busy though and the wait can be as long as 2 hours on a friday or saturday. What about a japenese steakhouse if you like that type of food. They cook in front of you, so you have entertainment while you eat. Takes the pressure off of the conversation if it lulls.

What a strange society we live in where factories are a dining location...
Cheesecake Factory food is good. Clearly the titular cheesecake is the star of the show, but their lighter fare is generally what you'd expect from a mid-range restaurant. The heartier portions are a bit disappointing though. Might want to stick with appetizers and cheesecake for a fun, conversation-heavy dinner. You'll probably want a glass of wine or a cocktail after dinner as a digéstif, though. If there's a good bar nearby, you're set.

They have good food, a LOT of choices and really good dessert. Their portions are huge, the prices are a little high and rarely do we ever have room for the delicious cheesecake! I would say you could probably have a fun date here but I would pick another restaurant to go to. The ones in Chicago are always packed, you can't make reservations and they are super loud. (Not good for a date!) But you should definitely check it out, maybe with a group of friends?

The Cheesecake Factory is fabulous! I've never had anything bad there. The portions are HUGE! I take my left-overs home and have at least two more meals from them! I love their chicken marsala and their meatloaf sandwich. Key lime cheesecake is my favorite but all of them are wonderful. It is a little pricey but like I said the portions are gigantic. My husband and I split a dinner and a cheesecake. It makes it less expensive and we are both still stuffed afterward. Enjoy and have fun!

Very good food...pricier than I expected considering it's a chain restaurant. I'd go again, but not sure it's a good place for a first date. It's generally very, very crowded on the weekends, you'll have to wait, maybe an hour or more. It's also very noisy and tables are really close together. I guess it depends what you're expecting from this date. If you're looking for a place to gab and get to know someone, it might be fine. If you're looking for romantic or private/quiet, this is definitely not the place.

We have a Cheesecake Factory that just opened in my area. Well let me tell you, you better go with a fat pocketbook. It is a very nice place, but the prices are outrageous. We could not afford to eat there. One hamburger was $14.00, and that was just one hamburger. Just imagine, two hamburgers for $28.00. Not for me. The rest of the menu was just as bad. Needless to say, we did not eat there!! Although, I have to say, there was a line waiting to sit down. I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend so if cost is not an issue, go for it. Good luck to you and happy eating..

I have eaten their a couple of times. The food is just ok. It's a little more expensive than casual dining, but not crazy expensive. The first time I ate there I was really diappointed. I was expecting great food, based on their chhesecake. I've been back with family, but not because I suggested it. To tell the truth dont eat there, just get a slice of cheesecake to go! If you have to eat there, I would stick w/ I'm not too hongry and just get desert!

One of my favorite restaurants!! Try the chicken & biscuits, with french gravy & vegtibles, it's a bout $16, . Also thier portions are huge, that dish a lone could feed 2 very hungry people. Orange chicken, is good too, they have lots of huge sandwiches, for a round $10, but the desserts are the best, 6 to 8 bucks, but you will want to share, almost everyone leaves with a bag because they can't finish so much food. Good pick, you will love it.
