Dining Out - March 2007

I've been serving for 10 years, fine dining the last 4. I'm in college but I really wish I could just serve for the rest of my life (I know I can't though). I'm very responsible and not a huge partier, I have a 3 year old. Why do I love it so much?

I love H. Salt Esq. Fish & Chips, but I can't seem to find any in Alameda County. The nearest one that I've seen is all the way in San Jose, CA.

If you know of any places that has great 'Fish & Chips', please narrow it down to Alameda County. Thanks.

I want to open a healthy resturaunt that alot of people would like but i dont know which one i should pick heres the choices salad bar or a juice bar where people would pick there fruits and i would blend them and make like a smoothie or just a juice which one please!

I don't know if everyone will believe this, but hopefully you will because I am honestly telling the truth.

I was at the McDonald's drive thru today, and I asked for the quarter pounder meal. I got to the first window, paid, and then went on to the second. There was another car in front of me. The drive thru employee gave them their order. The car didn't move on, but instead they gave the meal back to the employee. After a couple seconds, they gave them a new meal. The car drove on.

I went on to get my order, and they handed it to me. When I got home, I opened the box that had the burger in inside ... it was half eaten. I threw the burger out because there is no way I would eat that. The only logical explanation for it that I can think of, is that the person in front of me was accidentally given my order, and they took a bite out of it and realized it was not what they wanted. Do you think I should have taken it back? I am sure they wouldn't have believe me if I did.

I split steamed edamame with a coworker while our food was being made, and then had the spicey korean with vegetables, which consists of grean beans, snap peas, mushrooms, carrots, and brocolli with brown rice on the side. i ate most of the veggies and about half of the rice serving. i had a big glass of water to drink.

My girlfreind and I have three kids, and about 5 months ago we gain a new member in the family, her sister. Who is 14 and is full of bad habits nourished from thier mom, hence having to come live with us. My girlfriend is 19 and very caring. She asked me if it was okay, I said yes, under the terms, she becomes a member of the family, ya know helping out and so forth, and if she follows rules, well, it was going fine at first, then Her sister started to act out, by not listening, to us when we told her to by a winter coat, and I said the sister could borrow a dresser of mine, although her sister had the money to buy her own she still used mine, so i wanted my dresser back and that was a big issue, but if shehadn't been buying drugs she already have a dresser. Her sister mouth off to me and lied, so got in trouble when it should have been her, in trouble, she refused to help out at home, leaving dirty dishes around, so I kicked her gave a fair warning and kicked her out, was I right.
