First day in a long time that me and my date have a day off together. What to do? Doesn't have to be columbus day related, but holidays on Monday suck cause museums are closed ... and thats typically my first choice.

He's put me in charge of planning our day, I suck at it, help!

Wouldn't mind doing some light hiking in nearby suburbs... any ideas? Or have a lazy day somewhere...

I visited a Steak n Shake in Iowa City & it was great. I didn't have to wait long and the sandwich I ordered was good. I do have to admit the fries did suck. They were too small.

I was just in a restaurant and most of the parents kept their children at tha table with them, however there was one set of parents that allowed their kids to run around the restaurant bumping into other patrons and tripping over their own feet (as all children do until they gain coordination) and crying loud when they fell and hurt themselves.

Don't you think that parents should take care of their children and not allow them to destroy other patron's enjoyment of their meal?

Why is it, when u are sitting at a table eating your food, the waiter/ress comes along to ask the above question, when u can garunteee most of your mouths are full. Do they not want you to be honest?
