I have a Sony Walkman Model D-EJ01. You can stop the disc, turn unit off, open the player, remove the disc, change batteries, replace the disc and the next time you turn it on it will start from the exact point on the disc where it was when turned off. Sweet! I use it mostly for listening to recorded books so it is very important that it remembers the location when turned off.
Now I need a small portable mini boom box type of CD player with speakers that does the same. Can anyone here help?

My camcorder has a 1394b plugin and my computer has a 1394a plugin. How do i connect them since they are totally different sizes. Is there an adapter or converter I can get?

my roommate's iHome is brighter than mine and I have no idea why...I can still see the time and everything but it's not as bright as it should be (even on the highest one)...so is there a way I can make it brighter?

I have a 32 inch LCD TV and it seems its suffering from image persistence. I turned on my DVD player for a while and it was left in the home screen which is bright blue. One menu tab was open and I finally turned the DVD player off and put it to a TV channel. As soon as I turned to the TV channel I noticed a dark line running across the tv where the DVD menu line was running across. It's like an after image which was burned onto the LCD screen (I know LCD's don't suffer burn in). I believe it's image persistence, and i'm wondering how can I fix this? Many websites state that I should turn it off for a while or run a white screen for a while. I turned it off for about 10 hours and still the same. Has this happened to you? What should I do? Please help, thanks.

The PSP 2000, Outputs video, but games can only be outputted if you use the Component Out, Is it possible for the Component Out to work connected to the Composite In on a TV? If not, are there any converter available anywhere?

I am the proud owner of a used Grand Performer 2 by NSM and I was wondering if there was anyone who knew anything about these units. Like I have a set of speakers that don't work on my computer anymore but it has this plugin to go into my iPod. The only this is to power it I have to have a USB port so I was wondering if they made like a thing to wear I can plug like an adapter that goes into a normal outlet and on the other side has a USB port. I recently bought a DVD-- Diary Of Dreams: Nine In Numbers. I use a Playstation 2 to play my DVD's, as it's compatible to do so and it keeps me from having to spend sixty bucks on a DVD player that's worth its salt.

However, I'm getting a strange error sort of message...

It doesn't actually say 'error', but it's the same bloody thing. When I tried to play the DVD in the Playstation 2, it starts up as usual, then it says "TV System Doesn't Match".

My question, I guess has two parts:

1) What does this message mean?

and...

2) Is it possible for me to fix it?

Additional information: My television brand is impossible to type so it's readable, but it's pronounced "ee-low", and it's about a year old. It has patch cord plugs in the front and back and I've tried both sets of patch cord plugs in my attempt to remedy the problem; I get the same message from both sets. I don't have many ideas of what could be wrong, other than the given components aren't compatible. Any more ideas?

I'm in a band and we are looking for a somewhat affordable and easy way to record our gigs. We have a guy with a mixer and all that, but we want something easier to do at every show. Any ideas on how we could record the shows? The idea we are going for is similar to having an old school cassette player in the audience somewhere, only we want one that records as mp3's or onto cd.
