My friend had a pair of really expensive ear plugs that lowered the sound but didn't distort or modify it at all. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I am a musician who plays loud concerts and am in need of ear protection, but normal ear plugs distort the sound way too much to be used. Then I heard about these, but I don't know what they are called or if they work or not. Can anyone give me any information at all?

ok, so heres my sitution, i sold a nokia n-gage (phone) on ebay for bout 84 bucks, than the buyer asked me if i had somthing else to sell, i told him a playstaion2, he said ok, next day he sent me 2 emails saying that its from paypal and that he has send the payment for both items so i had to ship both items as the emial told me to, after a week or so, i realized i hadent recived any payment so i contacted paypal, they told me that those emails were fake or "fishing emails" and that they were not responsible for it, ebay was, oh yea and i couldnt stop the shipping of the items either, so i reported the buyer on ebay but they didnt do anything cause he had closed his account, now I HAVE LOST ABOUT 300 DOLLARS, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Hi Everyone,
I have a number of passive A/V switch boxes I use to route audio/video signals from my various DVRs, DVDs, VCRs, etc, to TVs around the house.

The problem with these switch boxes is that they tend to get pulled off the backs of their shelves by the attached cables. Even if I use strain releases on the shelves, the switches still bob around a lot because they're so much lighter than the cables. More info:

1. They're sealed units. I can't get them apart to drill through the bottoms into the shelves.

2. I tried strong two-sided tape but it gives way after only a day or two.

3. I don't think Hot Glue will work very well on the smooth wood surfaces of the shelves.

4. Magnets probably aren't a good idea (g).

So, does anyone have any advice on how to attach the switch boxes firmly to the shelves of the entertainment centers?

Thanks to all for taking the time to read this.

Have a good day!
