I want to something that I can plug into my iPod that'll let me use 2.5mm headphones with it. But not a big fat barrel or patch cable. Something sexy and barely there. Like just a little sleeve that just sticks out form the ipod a little bit.

I have music files that are in my directory and can be played in Windows Media Player 11 but, I cannot get them to sync to my Zen Vision M. It says they are already on the device and they are not. I've formatted the Zen and did the sync again but, WMP 11 has it cached someone that it thinks the files are on the device and will not sync them. I've deleted the cached files under the sync options as well but the list still shows they are already on the device and skips them. I've even tried to drag the album over to the sync list and do it manually and it ignores the files.

I swear my music has a slower tempo after I ripped it from a CD. Does the rip format, mp3, aac, 160kbps, 128 kbps, effect (affect) the tempo of a song?

I would like to purchase a Logitech AudioStation which is a iPod docking station with a tuner. The website says that the tuner is an AM/FM digital radio. Is this the same as DAB? I would like to be able to tune into DAB only channels such as BBC7 or BBC World, will I be able to do it using the Logitech device?

I've been looking at the MP3 players at circuitcity.com and the Creative Labs 30GB Zen Vision:M Digital Media Player seems like the best deal for one. And I think it holds more songs then the 30gb Ipod. Of course I heard they are coming out with a 60gb, so I might wait for that one. Anywho, is it worth the money? I mean should I try to save up for one or keep using my CD player?

And please don't say I should go for an Ipod instead, Itunes takes up way to much space on my computer and a snail is faster then my computer when I had it on my computer.

my audio collection has travelled from LP to cassettes to digital now . if i want to preserve a copy which can always be converted to something contemporary what should it be - wma, aac , wav , mp3 . because in the future ( say five years later ) the audio converters available now might not be there anymore . what format can i store it in and forget it for 5 years ?
