well the best place to buy it is from apple itself. Go to apple webstie and buy it with the student discount. It will be cheaper than most place even walmart. I wouldn't recommeded getting a use ipod because of the decline in quality like the battery.

It would be best to buy from Apple itself.
Barring that, any major retailer is fine as long as they can provide the AppleCare extended warranty.
The price shouldn't really change more than a dollar or three between stores; I'm pretty sure it's standardized.

It's always best to buy yours straight from Apple. Either online or in their ever- increasing UK stores (there's one in Bluwater).
But if you really wanted to get them cheap, try compareprices.co.uk or just type cheap Ipod on your address bar and check online.
If you don't buy it from Apple, you'd definitely get it £20 cheaper at the most.
Good Luck aND happy hunting!

Do it yourself! Try the best software I have seen AVS Video Tools.
It can convert to/from all key format, upload video or DVD directly to key portables like iPod, Sony PSP, Archos, Zen Creative, and mobiles.
It can capture video from DV or webcams, TV tuners, DVB-T, DVB-S, transfer VHS tapes to DVD, remove commercials, edit video, copy and burn DVDs and video files: AVI (DivX, XviD, etc.), MP4, WMV, 3GP, 3G2, QuickTime (MOV, QT), SWF, DVD, VOB, VRO, MPEG 1,2,4, MPG, DAT, VCD, SVCD, ASF, H.263, H.264, RM, DVR-MS.
