I swear my music has a slower tempo after I ripped it from a CD. Does the rip format, mp3, aac, 160kbps, 128 kbps, effect (affect) the tempo of a song?

It shouldn't. I have not noticed a difference myself. I use CDex to rip songs. Look at the song length (time) and see if there is a difference between the song on the CD and the ripped song.
