I would like to purchase a Logitech AudioStation which is a iPod docking station with a tuner. The website says that the tuner is an AM/FM digital radio. Is this the same as DAB? I would like to be able to tune into DAB only channels such as BBC7 or BBC World, will I be able to do it using the Logitech device?

no I can't see how that would work, AM is amplitude modulation and FM is Frequency modulation therefore by fefinition are not digital.
DAB is digital audio broadcast.
I guess it could be possible that someone has made a device which contains both technologies.

real, quite some what's on the radio in the present day is undesirable. regardless of the undeniable fact which you do no longer might desire to provide up on terrestrial. I somewhat have somewhat super radio stations for each musical format. purely ask in case you desire a good station to attempt over the internet

no - DAB is digital radio, much clearer reception and i think you can get a lot more radio stations. AM/FM radios are the old-fashioned type of radio.

i agree, but a DAB Aerial will pick up Digital sure enough, but it will also recieve VHF broadcastings also.
most omni directionals work fine, and are very easy to install.
it is clearer, and travels alot better also.
