i have a ipod nano 1G 4gb,
it boots fine but then becomes non responsive,
disk mode works,
i have restored my firmware,
reset it,
the hold switch turns it off for some reason,
need help

well i want to buy an i pod or mp3 player i dont care which one they both play music but i just want something cheap and easy to use which one is cheaper and a good place to buy it thanks

I'm trying to clear up some space on my computer and my collection of mp3s and others are taking up the most space. I made copies of all my songs on some CDs but how will deleting all my songs affect my Itunes collection?

Will they delete from that too? And will they show up on my ipod even though the file is gone?? I don't really wanna do it if they'll disappear from itunes and my ipod too.

If someone could help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Things like iPodLinux (Which doesn't work with iPod Nano 2nd Generation) etc etc.

I have a new 80 gig ipod video and an old 4th generation ipod. The old ipod came with a wall plug for the firewire cable. Can use this cable to the new ipod video ? Does ipod videos have the same power (wattage) requirement with the old one ?

I purchased an MP4 4Gb player from Hong Kong on eBay back in Sept 2006. Worked fine until I tried to put a film on it, which knocked the memory up to 1.9Gb. The whole thing packed up and refused to play, correctly then started resetting itself. Being a techie, I opened the unit and found that what I had purchased was a 1Gb MP4 player, badged to look like a 4Gb. If you interogate the unit with software, it even shows that it is a 4Gb unit. But just try and exceed 1Gb. To get it to work again, you have to reduce the memory to below 1Gb by deleting music or video files. And it once again works like a dream, okay only a 1Gb dream but what do I expect for £23.00.
If you have similar or worse problems try deleting all your songs and starting again.

Hi don't know much about mp3 and mp4. I don't whant to pay a lot. Will 2GB be enought for a mp4? I prefer to use the player for movies as well, but I'm and a tied budget. Do you get portable speakers or something to hook up in your car to use your player? I have no speakers or radio in my car at the moment. I want a versatile player so I can go jogging with it and also listen music on it in my car, or watch movies, if possible.
What do you recommend I get? please I want something descent to listen too and to watch.

i have an ipod video. i restored my ipod back to its original settings because it was messing everything up. then i tried to put all the songs back on it will only copy 28/312. whats wrong with it? it says that "attemptIng to copy "kayleighs" filed. an unknown error occured (-69). HELP ME PLEASE! thanx! =]
