I have a new 80 gig ipod video and an old 4th generation ipod. The old ipod came with a wall plug for the firewire cable. Can use this cable to the new ipod video ? Does ipod videos have the same power (wattage) requirement with the old one ?
Thanks a bunch.

Yes, you can only use it to charge the new ipod and they have the same wattage because both of them have the same type of battery, however you cannot use the firewire cable to sync songs to the new ipod, the only thing that u can use to sync music to it is an usb cable, it already comes with it. Hope this helped.
