the guy who responded first has no concept what he's talking about. 2GB could get you a minimum of 500 songs. Now once you've an MP4 participant and performance video on it, then you definitely can likely get 2 or 3 videos and no songs. Or a million movie and a couple of hundred-three hundred songs.A music is between 3 and 5 Megabytes (and there's one thousand megabytes in a GB) so if it really is in person-friendly words music you may have fairly some tunes.

Apple has the best music players. For video (mp4) and music (mp3) the best is something like a 30gb ipod, but it costs around $250. For just music WITHOUT a screen, the shuffle is awesome, it is about the size of big jacket button so it is very easy to jog with. The shuffle costs around $80. The nano is nice if you want to run WITH a screen, and it only has music. The nano ranges from $150-$250.

Unfortunately, what you want is a decent MP4 player, which obviously costs. You can buy cheap £30.00 ish MP4 players from hong kong on eBay. Unforunately what you'll get is a reasonable 1Gb player that will stop working after you've exceeded 1 Gb, and will run out of batteries after 3 hours if you're watching a movie. But good enough to play loads of music. And easier to store music on as well than an iPod.

MP3 = music, MP4 = Video
they are different formats, and unfortunatley if you want to watch video you will need something MP4 capable, also, videos take up alot of space, so you'll need something with a large capacity too.
on a sidenote, wearing ipod headphones or any kind of earphones is dangerous whislt driving, as it makes harder to hear traffic / horns / pedestrians.
you wont be able to watch a movie whilst jogging anyway, for a cheap option, go for a ipod shuffle (they are cheap due to a lack of screen etc) that'll give you good quality music, it's impossible to cause it to skip whilst jogging / bouncing around, and its small/light to carry about.
if you must have movies.. a video/mp4 player is your only option, and unfortunatley they just arent cheap.

I have the iPod Video 30GB. It is very good for movies and music. It s around £160 on amazon. You don't get portable speakers but you can buy them on the internet from around £30.
