you can put pics, but not video, you have to have a iPod Video for that but
go to your ipod on iTunes and go to photos at the top and click inport then you can select photos from your computer and click apply when your done

Yes there is a way its called Linux...It's illegal... but if your going to do this you gotta be careful because it can damage your ipod and you can't return it with the warranty... You can search for it online ....I am not condoning so to do it... just informing

only if u install linux on your iPod ...I forgot the site just Google it you'll get it....But I've never tried this coz i have a video iPod so tell me if it works........
