I have the sony AW3000 mp3 player and need to buy an FM Transmitter to play it in the car. Additonally the cigarette lighter doesnt work so I cannot use the power from there.

Help?

I didnt back-up my purchased songs off itunes and had to completely erase/restore my ipod so i was just wondering if there is any way of getting back my purchased songs back on to my itunes library?..I know there are alot of ipod audio ripper programs but dont want to take that route.

I was looking into subscribing to Urge on the Windows Media Player, but, unfortunately, it doesn't work with the iPod. Sooo, I'm looking for a music downloading service that will allow me to download entire albums in one click and has an annual subscription plan rather than paying by the track/album on iTunes. Does anyone have a suggestion?

P.S. Yes, I know limewire is free, but It's just getting kind of inconvinient downloading song after song after song, sometimes not even getting what you want.

I like to jog. I jog longer with music in my ears, especially RnB. The bad thing is, over the last 6 months I've gone through 3 earphones, already! Sound doesn't come out from one of the earphones. Whats wrong? Is it cause I wear them jogging? Can I get them repaired? Lately, i've opted in buying cheap China made ones, since I'm sure I'll break them soon.

i've noticed that everyone who has used this video/music player says it is better than the ipod and zune. the only reason i would get a zune is for the bigger screen, the only reason i would get an ipod is its size. i would get a zen but the size of it (depth) scares me. most of the time it will be in my pocket and i don't really like having things bulging out of my pocket. is it too big? also, is the zens screen bigger than the ipod videos? the reason i'm leaning away from the ipod is because of the small screen (irritating when watching movies).

Anyone know of a site that has semi-oldies.
I would like to listen while I exercise. I would prefer some chat mixed in with the tunes too. Sometimes it is necessary to listen to someone talk while walking/jogging, otherwise I might fall asleep.

I'm trying to restore my Pod because it's been doing weird things like being slow, battery running out quicker than usual, and not appearing in the source list. And I've downloaded the newest version of iTunes and then after I plugged in the Pod and clicked the restore button and then waited overnight for the Pod to show up in the source list. I had yet to see anything other than the Apple logo or the "please wait, very low battery" (which is a lie because the last I saw it, the Pod was fully charged), So I wondered-How long is this supposed to take? So then I'm told that it might help to put it in disk mode, which I did, but I have no clue what that does to help. I've been on the Apple website posting topics and looking through the articles, but none of it has helped. So now, all I really want to do is get my iPod to come up in iTunes.

i just bought the zune..

- when it charges how do you turn it off? i hold down the play/pause and it doesnt do anything.

- how do u turn it off? while its not charging... im in the car. so then i try turning it off.. i hold down play/pause and it will shut off for a few seconds then it turns back on?

-when will they have music videos available?

I have a video ipod, about 4 months old. I keep having to reboot it, more and more frequently. Today it pretty much is worthless; it stops a few seconds into most songs, is dragging - if I advance to the next song takes a minute or two before it performs that action. Grrr...anything I can try here before I take it back to the Apple store?

I am a LOVER of music, and I am kinda dependant on music to survive (not literally), so I am afraid that the ipod will not last long, or that the compnay will no longer supply Ipod, making all my music on my ipod no useable anymore. Down the road do you guys think that will happen, or do you think, that the ipod mp3 stage will last for my entire lifetime, so that I won't have to loose any percious music? If so what can I do to have a backup of everything, so that I can put my music on any thing that comes out new, after the ipod phase?

Ok, I have an iPod Video 30 GB, and I can't download podcasts! I have about 4 or 5 on my computer and I can play them using iTunes, and when I view my song list of what I have on my iPod (viewing it from the computer) it shows the podcasts to be in my list and on my iPod. But when I unplug my iPod from the computer and go to podcasts on the iPod itself, there isn't anything there! Please help! I asked a similar question before, and some people said I needed to be sure the podcasts were downloaded to my computer, that I wasn't just subscribed to the show... Well how do I do that? And also, Once I have them downloaded, the people said I have to be sure I synched them with my iPod, How do I do THAT??? :)

I've tried anything from rubbing alcohol to just cloth material. But my cd's keep skipping. Especially at good parts of the songs. Can anyone help me? I also heard your not suppose to clean the bottom of the cd, but rather the top, is that true?

I want to erase a disc, i had one copy of it with songs i didn't want, and i reburned it to a new disc and took the songs off. Now i want to put them back, but it wont let me put the songs on the new disc. (the old one is scratched) so how do i erase the disc to put the songs on it ?? For more details im me bcuz i know i'm bein a bit confusing ..

my ipod battery lasts me only about 4 hours. sometimes less. once in a while more. why? weirdness. in april it will mark 1 year of me having it. what should i do now? get a new one? change the battery? and how do i do that? hmmm?
