The files on Limewire? If they aren't corrupt, then they're fine to put on an iPod shuffle. Limewire has viruses and adware on it, but if you get an actual .mp3 or .m4a, it should be fine

I haven't had any problems with using songs from limewire on my iPod Shuffle...

I download songs off limewire and it's perfectly fine for my ipod. It's pretty easy to spot the viruses if you've used limewire long enough.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but there are TONS of viruses on limewire.
