Do I need to reinstall it? Help!

2007-02-18 08:41:49 · 4 answers · asked by charliarch 1

About a month ago I dropped my 5th-gen iPod, and it took quite a hit. The interface still works, I can go through the menus and etc. but when I try to sync, reinstall ipod software, etc. the disk starts making a clacking noise and iTunes claims the disk is corrupt. I'm not doubting this, but is there a way to physically check it out? Is it the needle that's off balance?

I replaced it with a nano already; but I was really just curious. I miss my videos as well =P

How do I do that? I have tried opening it with iTunes but it won't do anything. Do I have to download it in a certain program to be able to convert it? Can I convert it with Videora if I dowloaded it with BitComet? I am confused to how all this works.

I run, so the nano's a good choice, but I like a lot of music, so 8gb might not be enough. I don't care about video, but the full size one can hold all my songs.

My ipod nano says that it is a 1GB and will hold 240 songs. When I add up to about 40 songs, it says that there is not enough space and that it cannot import all the songs requested. Why is this so? Is there a way to fix it? Please help!

(please note: It has nothing to do with my computer space, its all Itunes, AND I only have like 7 pictures on it)

We have so many songs on the computer, some from CD's, some from internet downloads. Some players like the one in my phone does not support playing these types of songs. I don't need a lot of space just a player that will play ALL types of songs. What should I look for?

I only have like 30 songs on my ipod, and 7 pictures. It's an Ipod nano and says it can hold up to 200 songs, but once I reach the limit of about 40 songs, it says there is not enough space to import all of them. I know it isn't my computer space, it has something to do with Itunes. Why? Please help!

I just purchased this sound card, and I was tryin to hook up my mixer and headphones to it. On any other sound card you would just have to hook up the mixer to the sound card and the headset to the sound card. This model has only RCA outlets to it anyone know where I would hook up the headphones too?

Is reception OK (I live in N Ireland), but maybe its worth it for all the extra digital stations you get. Some of the sets are cool.

I want a new MP3 player after finding my 256MB player a bit small.
I'd prefer a USB rechargable one for ease but I don't have a clue which to go for with so many choices.
My computer is XP with windows media player 10 and if possible I'd prefer not to install other software to use the player.
I think 2GB would be enough, compatible with MP3/WMA, the ability to select which tune to play at a menu and shuffle/use a playlist.
Pausing a song would also be good should I ever want to listen to an audio book.
any ideas? even a good site to look at would be useful!
oh yes, price! I'd not mind paying up to £50 but not much more.
Thank you!!!
