After charging overnight, my shuffle is flashing yellow?

How long SHOULD it take to charge? Its plugged into computer * computer says there's songs on it... Should I take it back?

You should only be charging for 3 hours.
Overcharging can cause overheating and potentially destroying the battery.

yes i think you should it should charge to 80% capacity after 2 hours.
