I dowloaded a movie on BitComet and I want to put it on my ipod..?

How do I do that? I have tried opening it with iTunes but it won't do anything. Do I have to download it in a certain program to be able to convert it? Can I convert it with Videora if I dowloaded it with BitComet? I am confused to how all this works.
