My ipod nano says that it is a 1GB and will hold 240 songs. When I add up to about 40 songs, it says that there is not enough space and that it cannot import all the songs requested. Why is this so? Is there a way to fix it? Please help!

(please note: It has nothing to do with my computer space, its all Itunes)

Well there shouldn't be a 1gb nano...so check out your iTunes library. If there are tons of old stuff you don't want, delete them. Your iPod automatically collects everything from your library. That's probably why there's no room especially if you share an iTunes library. Hope it helps!
