Do I have to keep my movies on my computer hard drive once I load it onto my Ipod? My laptop has 9 gb of movies on them and now , when I use the Airvex program that reformats and copies my dvds to ipod format, what used to take 2.5 hours per movie now takes 8. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have a 30GB Video Ipod.

I recently had to restart the computer to make it be like if I bearly bought it so all my folders and documents and everything is gone. Dumb virusss.

I have an IFP-899 MP3 player. Today I was trying to transfer OGG files to it and that operation failed. Ever since then when I try to turn it on it flashes "scan music file" on & off like its trying to start up. It is completely unresponsive and in order to turn it off I need to remove the battery.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

my computer crashed and my itunes got deleted, how do I put the songs from my ipod back into the itunes without syncing the ipod to the itunes and deleting all the songs from my ipod????

My wife and I jointly own some music CDs purchased used or through various retail and mail-order outlets.

Is it legally permissible for us to make copies of those CDs, one for each of us to use in each of our cars?

2nd question, is it legal to do the same with music that was purchased via iTunes?

If we had children, would they be permitted to use burnt copies of our music/load it into their iPods (were talking category one here, music purchased from a retail outlet)?
