yes you can follow these instructions i gave to somebody else you had almost the same problem if this doesn't work then your friend will have to get the songs all over again.

Hopefully you have your ipod enable for disk use or this won't work!!! Make sure you can view hidden folders as well*
1)open up itunes like normal with ipod plug
2)click no for deleteing the songs
3)go to my computer and select your ipod
4)click the ipod control folder*
5)click on the folder label music(DO NOT MESS WITH ANY OTHER FOLDER- IF YOU DO YOU WILL MESS UP YOUR IPOD!!)
6)look at all the beautiful folders that are there(if you have a lot of music then you have a lot of folders)
7)click the first folder
8)highlight all the music files
9)now open up itunes and make sure my computer screen is right next to the itunes screen
10)drag the highlighted files to the library(drag and put mouse pointer over word library in sidebar when plus shows up let go of mouse)
11) that will make itunes import the entire folder at once
12)now repeat steps 7-10) until all F## (F00, F01...) folders have been downloaded
13)This is the easier and fastest way of doing this have any questions just email me(click avatar pic then click email lightessnc)

*Steps for making hidden folders unhidden
1) go to my computer
2)click tools
3) click folder options
4)click the view tab
5)read down til you see a folder icon that has hidden folder and files right beside it
6)click the circle that has show hidden folder and files behind it
7) that shows every hidden file or folder
8)repeat steps to make hidden folders "disappear" again

I hope it help you and i hope it wasn't too long. I gave you the quickest and easiest way that I know how to do things.

Download Senuti if she has a mac (probably not because macs rarely crash, if ever). Otherwise, there's software out there for PCs :) - just google it

If she has windows media player(she can download it if she doesn't) then all she has to do is plug her USB cable in and synchronize her ipod w/ the media player. after she does that she'll have her songs on her ipod and her computer.
