When i use my paper shredder it interferes with tv and VCR causing alot of static on tv.

I have a nice stero with good speakers, however, they are wire only and have no rca jacks. the stereo has a headphone and an auxilary jack but no rca outlets.I also have an isound with two nice speakers that simply plugs into a headphone jack. I would like to hook both of these up to my tv to pimp out my dorm room. Is this possible? how? Thnx

Alright, i was watching this movie on my dvd player and i hit the eject button on the remote control so that i wouldn't have to get up and hit the button on the dvd player... but then i realized i had to get up anyways to get the movie... i got to wondering WHY they put the eject button on the remote if you got to get up anyways to get the movie.

I converted a 350MB .avi file to DVD format. But why does the DVD format take 2.1 Gigs of storage?? Shouldn't it take the same as the .avi file?

I have two TiVos; one set to broadcast on channel 3; and the other set to broadcast on channel 4. How can I combine these two signals, so that I have one coax plugged into my TV; allowing the TV to choose which TiVo to watch by choosing channel 3 or 4?

I'm looking for external speakers to hook up to my TV. It said it was compatible with DVD & MP3 players but didn't mention VCRs - I guess it should work. But you get 5 speakers and a subwoofer for about $45. Does anyone know this brand and how it holds up ?

I have an XBox set to 1080i output through HD component cables connected to component input on my Onkyo HT-S790, and a high-end component cable between the receiver and my 1080p DLP TV, but get poor, grainy picture. However, if I run the output from the XBox DIRECTLY to the TV, I get a sharp, crisp HD picture. Is the receiver capable of handling this signal?

I recorded some TV in france and brought the video home. When I play it through my video, there is picture and sound, but no colour. They are french video cassettes, bought in France. Has anyone any ideas how I can get the colour to work without buying a french vcr? Thanks.
