Is the Russound SMS3 Smart Media Server a leading edge product of high quality and reliability??

I have not had any experience with the SMS3 Smart media server.

However I have install a couple of the Russound cat5 based multi room / mulit source whole house audio systems. All have worked perfectly and to this day still function. This item is on the leading edge of mulit room / multi source cat 5 based systems, in fact it was the only one till a couple months ago when OnQ brought theirs on to the market.
