i have at&t high speed yahoo dsl internet service and my modem doesnt support wireless internet so do i have to disconnect the ethernet cable from my computer and plug it in to my ps3 etc. thanks

i have read once in gamespot.com that when you get to complete 100% of the spiderman 2 game on the PS2, you can go to roosevelt island and find an icon at the back of the warehouse that can make you change and play as Doc Ock, is this really true? anybody here who has completed 100% of the said game? or was it just a lie?

Sony claimed blu-ray was necessary for this generation of console gaming. If that were the case, why does the Xbox 360 version of NCAA Fooball 2008 support 1080p while the Playstation 3 version supports only 720p?
I'm not a "fanboy" of either system and I enjoy both. However, if the supposedly inferior game format is, in fact, the better choice, should I even bother with the PS3?
HDTV is an important factor for me. Otherwise I would not care.

I think the Playstation 3 is of great technology and it is way superior to the PS2, Does anyone recommend to get it based on own experience?
The big cons I see are:
1) It is way too much overpriced (even with the $100 price drop)
2) There are not "Hot" games such as King of Fighters nor Final Fantasy

I really want to play the Art of Fighting Anthology, King of Fighters 2006 and Final Fantasy XII, Should I get a PS2 instead and sell it after two years and get the PS3?

So far none of the games released for the PS3 appeals me at all!!

I bet this question has been asked a million times. But ive decided to start saving up my money to buy one of these consoles. The only reason i would buy a 360 is because of how cheap it is, ive never been an xbox person, always a playstation person. Im really looking forward to metal gear solid 4 also for ps3 (not sure if its coming out for 360 or not) anyways back to the point, can somebody please list some hard facts on why which console is better then the other, and what one is the best buy. This is going to sound stupid, but how exactly do Sony know when you've had your PS3? When exactly does the warranty start, and do you have to do anything or send something off to start the actual 1 year warranty...I was wondering, as the manual isn't helpful! cheers

I have the PS2 and wasn't going to get the PS3, but I have recently found out that my favorite video game, GTA4, is only going to be available on PS3 and Xbox. They say the PS2 just doesn't have enough power to play it. Which means the game is probably awesome. So should I get the PS3 or Xbox? Xbox is cheaper but i'm a fan of Sony PS.

So I leave my PS3 on to download some demos while I watch TV. After some time, maybe an hour or two, I notice the power is off. Not even a red light. So I flip the switch to turn it back on, hit the power button, green light pops on for a second then completely loses power again. I mess with the power cord, leave it off for a few minutes, and eventually I get the power working again. The system turns on properly, but now I get no picture or sound. I've tried different cables and resetting the video settings, nothing so far has worked. Is there any way I can fix this, or is my PS3 simply defective?

I'm not talking about blu-ray. It's those disks that the slim version PS2 can play. It's not the label that's blue, it's the bottom part of the CD. What's the name of that kind of disk?
