This is going to sound stupid, but how exactly do Sony know when you've had your PS3? When exactly does the warranty start, and do you have to do anything or send something off to start the actual 1 year warranty...I was wondering, as the manual isn't helpful! cheers

I don't have a receipt, just some delivery document, does that count? I brought it online

PS3 is a better bet than Xbox, check the warranty card, keep it with your official receipt, so you can return to your retailer when needed repair.

I would contact play asap on 01534 877 595 this is equivalant number to 0845, you should of had a sml booklet in the bag of paperwork to send to Sony when they receive it
back you would be covered but no piece of paper and no cover i'd sort this asap if i were you mate No excuse for this whatsoever.

it starts when it gets delivered 2 u all u have to do is probably fax the documents to them and they will either get straight on to it or leave u b...
